The staff were exceptionally accommodating, especially considering my husband's vegetarian diet. The spa and wellness center offered delightful relaxation options, and we enjoyed many delicious breakfasts that were creatively prepared (not just the usual items! ). The garden area was lovely, though in need of some attention.
The outdoor dining area could use more upkeep, as it felt a bit unkempt during our visit.

Had a great time with friends, enjoying delicious meals and beautiful gardens. Don't miss out on the crab cakes and decadent breakfasts! We also visited a local store to grab a fishing license, just three miles away. Perfect for those looking to explore the area after returning to a warm, welcoming space.
We experienced some dining options being sold out during our stay, which was a bummer.

I enjoyed the charming decor of the inn, especially the unique historical features that made our stay feel special. Our room was cozy with a lovely fireplace, and breakfast in the solarium was bright and cheerful. Eric, who prepared breakfast, was a true chef and went out of his way to create a special homemade syrup for my mom's dietary needs. I appreciated the evening cookies that were offered, adding a nice touch to our stay. While the location is beautiful with stunning gardens, there were some issues with our room. We faced temperature control problems initially, as the standalone air conditioning unit was inadequate the first night. It improved after they changed the filter, but it shouldn’t have taken that long. Additionally, there were some cleanliness issues that needed attention, like dust in the corners of the room. Still, overall, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The charm of the inn kept us engaged despite a few inconveniences, and the proximity to local attractions like the Vermont Country Store was convenient for day trips.

Charming historical property with a lovely outdoor garden area, perfect for soaking up the local atmosphere. The jacuzzi suite features a fireplace and private patio, creating a cozy retreat for travelers wanting some relaxation.
The standalone air conditioning units struggled initially, making the first night a bit warm. it took a filter change to get comfortable. The dining options felt somewhat limited, with several menu items sold out during our stay. The bathroom in our room could use a significant update. the fixtures felt old, and the overall cleanliness needed attention.
